Our
Story
Meat Is My Ex was established in 2017. We just began our vegan journey and joked about how after going vegan we felt we were entering new lives. We began to rant on how Meat was a thing of the past for us and both yelled "Meat Is My Ex!". We instantly knew this was something in the making and our journey as business owners began.
In 2018 Darla was diagnosed with Lupus, as you can imagine this took a toll on the family, but we were determined to see it through and not allow it to consume our lives. We focused on boosting the lymphatic system and honed in foods that aided in the bodies optimal functions.
By 2019 Darla was back to health and pregnant with a baby vegan.
Becoming vegan parents strengthen our passion to allow individuals to see our journey of Meat becoming our Ex and raising a vegan child from conception.
